"It’s courtesy of Ms. Pin Antonio," says Mariel. "I’m so happy with it because it’s so easy to maintain and to style. A lot of people email and text the show always asking me where I got my haircut! It’s so fabulous!.

So it was with no second thoughts that the sexy Kapitbahay ni Kuya said "yes" to Pin’s invitation of her leading the opening of Antonio Hairdressing in BF Homes Parañaque. She, along with Pin and young stars Ahron Agassi and Carla Humphries lead the simple but elegant event.

Happy 19th!

Carla in Abt Ur Luv - Epi 25

Episode Title: Bad Trip

Yaya Ciana wins some money and decides to share her blessings by buying the gang tickets to the Enchanted Kingdom amusement park.



Brenda is unable to have fun because she's worried about what Hillary and Bill might be up to. Brenda leaves her friends while they're lining up for a ride and left with no choice, Celine accompanies her.



Brenda finally finds Hillary and Bill having fun.





Brenda insists that Hillary join her and Celine, and warns Bill to stay away.



Hillary has no choice but to get on the rides with her older sister while Bill can only look on from afar.

Later, Hillary and Bill are apart while everyone sits down for a quick snack. Bill sneaks behind Brenda and goes to sit with Hillary, but Brenda quickly spots him.



Hillary quickly tells Brenda that she and Bill are just going on one of the rides, and runs off before Brenda can react.



Celine grabs Brenda by the hair and manages to stop her from chasing after Bill and Hillary.



Celine tells Brenda to loosen up a little because she's going to force the two to go into hiding if she's this strict.

Later, Brenda is again looking for Bill and Hillary and spots them walking by holding hands.



She takes a deep breath, then turns her back on them both of them, as if it's not a big deal.
Celine tells her she did the right thing since it's just a harmless crush. Brenda says it's fine as long as it just stays as a harmless crush. If it becomes more than that, they'll be in for it.



As if to emphasize her point, Brenda turns around, picks up the game rifle and starts shooting.

As their fun day at the theme park comes to an end, Celine and Brenda invite Josh and Hillary to join them for dinner, but her siblings prefer to go home so they can be with their friends.



Brenda agrees to let them go, then she and Celine go to get dinner as the van with the rest of the barkada drives out of the parking lot of the theme park.

Carla on ASAP

Carla was on today's episode of ASAP '07 together with the cast of Abt Ur Luv.

She and John Wayne Sace also appeared in a later segment because they are May birthday celebrants.

Carla thanked her mentors at Star Magic as well as her sponsors, which include Particles, Maldita, Belo Medical Center, Gold's Gym, Ktext, and Chikka (sorry, didn't catch all of them).





Before blowing out the candles on her cake, she also thanked the viewers of Abt Ur Luv, saying that it's thanks to their support that the show will have a third season.

Carla in Abt Ur Luv - Epi 24

Episode Title: One Secretive Tuesday

It is Gens' birthday and he has invited his friends to the province at his aunt's home to celebrate.

The two vans arrive at their destination in the province after a long road trip. As they climb out of the vans, Stick tells Blue he feels really awkward because he's sure that the girls are once again talking about him.

True enough, at the other van, Celine tells Brenda that she's starting to feel sorry for Stick. She asks Brenda if it's time that they stop ignoring him. Brenda isn't too happy about the idea, saying that he's also avoiding them.

Gens' aunt has prepared breakfast for everyone. She encourages Brenda and Celine to help themselves, and almost lets slip that Gens will be leaving soon.

Everyone indulges in provincial fun -- splashing in the river, kite-flying, playing with the farm animals, posing for photos, picking mangoes from the trees and just having an all around good time.

When they break for lunch, Brenda remarks that she doesn't feel like returning to Manila, and Celine agrees. As everyone crowds around the table for food, Stick accidentally brushes against Brenda, and quickly apologizes. Brenda is just quiet.

* * *

Later that afternoon, everyone goes riding on bancas to take in the sights. Afterwards, the boys get together at the nearby well to collect water for their baths.

In their room, Neri confides to Gwen, Celine, and Brenda that she's torn about how to tell Gens the truth about her impending departure for Baguio. Gwen tells her that Gens may have a secret of his own, like possibly needing to leave for Italy with his dad because his petition has come through. Neri is surprised, then rushes out of the room to confront Gens.

Later, Brenda is helping Gens' aunt put away the dirty dishes from lunch, when Stick comes by. He takes the tray from her just as Celine arrives and asks that the three of them talk together.

Stick is nervous until Brenda assures him that they're not going to argue. She says that they should just put the past behind them because it's a small world and they have the same circle of friends. Stick is so relieved, and says that he feels like a thorn has been removed from his side. Happy that they've all agreed to move on, Celine excitedly says she can at last go back to the gym, and Brenda promises no more awkward moments.

At Celine's words, Stick hesitates, then finally reveals that he's planning to quit the gym and look for another job. He's not sure yet about where his job hunting will lead, but he says he'll definitely miss them.

Celine tells him to not say his goodbyes until he's sure, because it's all still up in the air for now. Brenda is visibly saddened at Stick's news. Celine asks her what's wrong, and Brenda says she's just sad because everyone's leaving. Surprised, Stick asks her who else is leaving?

As night falls, the neighbors gets together and perform traditional native dances as the gang gathers to enjoy the festivities.

At the end of the day, Gens is depressed after his talk with Neri. He is resting in his room when everyone gathers and starts singing a hopelessly off-key version of Happy Birthday for him from outside his room. He appears at the window and jokingly criticizes their singing, but it's obvious he appreciates their effort.

Brenda stops the singing, then quietly reveals that they actually have a real gift for him. Neri appears, and with Mao on the guitar, she starts serenading Gens with Nelly Furtado's "All Good Things."

Neri starts to cry when Gens approaches her. As their friends stand around them quietly singing the chorus (Flames to Dust, Lovers to Friends, Why do all good things come to an end?), Neri promises to wait for Gens, while Gens promises to return for her. They hug tightly.

Carla in Abt Ur Luv - Epi 23

Episode Title: Sunday Partners

Brenda sees Bill kissing Hillary's hand and immediately goes to tell Hillary that she's way too young to have a boyfriend since she's only 14.



Her sister tries to protest, but Brenda overrules her and says Bill can no longer be her partner for that evening's Santa Cruzan and instead gets Webb to be her sister's partner.

Later, Brenda helps Hillary with her makeup, but her sister is still unhappy about the change in partners.



After Hillary leaves, Celine asks if there's a chance that Brenda is just over-reacting. Brenda confesses to her friends that she just doesn't want her sister to get hurt, because men are all the same -- they only break your heart in the end when they exchange you for someone prettier and sexier.



At this, Celine gets up and says laughingly that at least this time Brenda admits it -- Celine is prettier and sexier. Brenda denies saying any such thing, and the two friends exchange glances and laugh.

The friends change into their gowns for the procession and wonder who will be crowned the Reyna Elena of the procession. Brenda tells Celine she'd be happy if her friend received that honor. Celine is quick to say the same of her friend.



Everyone gets together just before the procession starts. Brenda is paired with actor Rodjun Cruz.



After the procession, the girls cannot resist gathering around actor / heartthrob Piolo Pascual, who escorted the Reyna Elena. He gamely poses for a group photo with them.

Later, as everyone walks home, Brenda and Celine are laughing as they talk about the day's events. But Brenda quick loses her smile as they pass by some friends, including Stick.



He looks back at them with a sad, serious look on his face. Brenda stops for a moment, but finally decides to walk on without a word as Stick watches the two friends walk past.

Nanliligaw ba si Victor Basa kay Carla Humphries sa tunay na buhay?

Aminado si Victor na takot siyang manligaw for fear na baka tumanggap siya ng rejection. Dating modelo si Victor at second year college student sa La Salle.

Ano ba ang katangiang hinahanap niya sa isang babae? Iyon daw witty at siyempre maganda tulad ni Carla.

Samantala, mukhang madaling naka-recover si Carla sa kanilang failed relationship ni Janus del Prado. Truth to tell ay tila si Janus ang hindi madaling nakalimot. Sa ngayon ay free as a bird si Carla na sa ganda at taas na 5’7" ay pwedeng kumandidata sa beauty pageant.

Ewan lang namin kung type niya si Victor na ipalit kay Janus sa tunay na buhay.
