Brenda is at home going through job ads in the newspaper when Neri tries to talk to her. But Brenda is still upset with Neri and refuses to talk to her because she blames her cousin for the break-up of Celine and Gens.

Later that evening, Brenda is apologetic when a taho vendor comes to collect payment for the taho that was spilled during Hillary's fight with Bill. She asks them to return at the end of the month for the remaining balance, then enters the living room where Neri is sitting with a bruised cheek while Hillary feels guilty.



Brenda is still in the process of reprimanding Hillary when Josh arrives with more bad news -- Bill's grandmother is upset and is on her way to the Smith home. Before long, they can hear lola Conching outside, angrily threatening to file a lawsuit against Hillary.
