Carla in Your Song: Tuyo na'ng Damdamin

This weekend's episode of Your Song is entitled Tuyo na'ng Damdamin and features Roxanne Guinoo (as Sheila) and Jake Cuenca (as Francis).

Carla portrays Mira, Sheila's friend, who has a crush on Francis.

Mira (Carla Humphries) and Sheila (Roxanne Guinoo) are friends at college. Mira has a big crush on schoolmate and swimmer Francis (Jake Cuenca) but Sheila, herself an excellent swimmer, dislikes him because she finds him arrogant.

In class, the girls learn that Francis is failing his exams, and is now in danger of being kicked off the swim team. Mira immediately becomes worried for him.

Mira talks Sheila into tutoring Francis so he can catch up with their classes. Despite her dislike of him, Sheila agrees.

The tutoring pays off when the teacher announces that Francis has passed the latest exams.

To thank Sheila for her help, Francis gives her a present, and Sheila remarks to Mira that he's not as bad as she originally thought. Mira is saddened to realize that Francis is starting to care for Sheila, but she keeps her feelings to herself.

Francis and Sheila become a couple, but before long, Francis begins to realize that he is not Sheila's priority, and this leads to arguments. Mira observes from afar but does not interfere.

Their relationship problems worsen when Sheila is picked to compete in a five-week tournament in Thailand, and Francis does not make the cut. They have a terrible argument just before Sheila leaves the country.

Mira is there to cheer Sheila on as the swim team leaves. Francis stands at the back to avoid being seen.

Sheila returns from the trip weeks later with the gold medal. She learns upon arriving that Francis is in a coma at the hospital after a terrible accident. She rushes to be by his side.

She notices a floral arrangement in the corner of the room, and is shocked when she sees the note, which reads: Francis, Get well soon hon... I love u! Mira. Just then, the door opens and it is Mira, who is surprised to see Sheila there.

Mira reveals to Sheila that she and Francis are now together; that when Sheila left for the tournament, Francis had been depressed because Sheila had broken up with him.

To Mira's surprise, Sheila denies breaking up with Francis. Mira tells her that's how Francis interpreted her actions. Sheila admits that she had many shortcomings as a girlfriend, but goes on to say that she never stopped loving Francis, and that she's going to fight for him.

At Sheila's words, Francis stirs in bed, and the two of them rush to his side.

Later, Francis comes out of his coma. Mira tells him that Sheila is back, and that she claims to still love him. Mira anxiously asks him if he still loves Sheila.

Before Francis can respond, Sheila enters the room and asks to speak to Francis privately. Despite her worries, Mira leaves the room.

The next day, Mira returns to the hospital to find Francis trying to get out of bed. She rushes to his side when he almost falls. Francis expresses his appreciation, and makes Mira happy when he says she's always there for him.

But Francis goes on to say that they were together because they needed each other, and that after a while, it's not good enough. Mira starts to cry as she realizes that Francis is breaking up with her.

He pleads with her to understand, and to be strong for him one more time.

Mira pulls away from him and watches as Francis rises unsteadily to his feet. Still crying, she remarks that it seems he can now manage on his own. She turns and leaves the room, sobbing.

Later, after being discharged from the hospital, Francis goes to see Sheila and they get back together.
