SCENE-STEALER

WHAT a scene stealer Carla Humphries turned out to be when towards the end of the “Palos” pressscon where the stars were asked to render their parting shots, the tall model suddenly cried.

What are those tears for, we all wondered. “Wala lang po. Pasasalamat sa inyong lahat na press people who have been writing about me and supporting my career,” she said in between sobs.

Oh well, tears of thanks pala. Then she plugged not to forget to watch her appearance in “Maalaala Mo Kaya” for what she believes is her best drama acting to date.

For curiosity, we tuned in to “MMK” and we found Carla’s performance very moving especially her crying scenes. You will be carried away by her drama moments. In the episode, she played one of the two daughters of Michael de Mesa who was accused as a rapist by a female boarder.

Carla was noticed in her role as Brenda Smith in “Abt Ur Luv.” In “Palos,” she plays Stella, the childhood friend of Fabio or Cesar Montano.
