Eighteen-year-old Carla Humphries is the girl having a bad hair day in the Sunsilk TVC. She traveled to several countries to be able to bag this endorsement. But it is not her first commercial. She has participated in various TVCs such as Globe Gentxt, Sunsilk Series, C2 Iced Tea and Charmee feminine napkin, as well as having officially sponsored by Maldita, Molecules, Particles and Belo Medical Group.

Carla is a mainstay of the primetime soap Bituin Walang Ningning with real and reel boyfriend Janus del Prado. She was also part of the successful film D’Lucky Ones under Star Cinema. She’s a sophomore at the Center for International Education pursuing Entrepreneurship.

TWO sexy Star Magic young stars who also celebrated their birthdays recently are Carla Humphries, who turned 18 on May 20, and Princess Ryan, who turned 17 on May 26.

Carla decided not to have a grand debut. She just spent her birthday with her closest friends and loveteam mate Janus del Prado, with whom she appeared in TV’s Qpids and the movie D’ Lucky Ones.

Are they really on?

“No,” she says. “I like Janus’ good sense of humor but friends lang talaga kami.”

A model in various commercials, Carla is a regular in Bituing Walang Ningning, where she’s reunited with Janus. She’s a sophomore taking up Entrepreneurship at the Center for International Education.
