Carla in BWN - Episode 12.3

Barbara learns from Rita that Lavinia has already left for her guesting -- without Barbara.

A distraught Barbara realizes that she has created her own worst enemy in Lavinia. Rita tries to comfort her.

Rita asks Lavinia what she has done to upset Barbara so badly. Lavinia says she has only put Barbara in her place. Rita reminds Lavinia that Barbara is still their mother, no matter what she has done.



Lavinia replies by reminding Rita just who is earning the money in this household.

Jack and Rita are finally seeing each other again, now that Rita is allowed to go back to school. She tells him that tensions at home are so bad now that she'd rather not go home sometimes.



He encourages her not to give up, especially since she's the only one who can act as a bridge between Lavinia and Barbara.
