Week 04, Tuesday, Day 017

Fatima expresses surprise when she sees Precious at her school, and says she doubts Mrs. Reyes sent her there because she didn't forget her medicine today.

Precious says she was just there to spend time with Fatima, and that she even had to charm her way past the school guards.




Fatima says it's just as well since she'd rather spend time with Precious than that guy that she can't stand. Precious quickly seizes the opportunity to talk about Michael and asks her friend if she has seen him.



After Precious asks more questions about Michael, Fatima catches on at last and asks her if she's actually there because she wanted to see Michael. Precious smiles her answer.



Fatima admits she thought all this time that Precious was just teasing Michael. She didn't think her friend was seriously interested in him. Precious admits that she's not sure either, since Michael is torpe and such a "good boy," and that's not normally her type.




When Precious asks, Fatima denies having a crush on Michael. Precious says it's too bad because she thinks Michael is interested in her.



She teases Fatima, but later says seriously that since they're friends, she'll forget all about Michael, especially when he finally gets up the nerve to court Fatima.



Fatima tells Precious that as far as she's concerned, when it's a choice between her friend and a guy like Michael, she'll always choose her friend.



Precious is touched and quickly runs to give Fatima a hug. She asks Fatima again if she's really not interested in Michael, Fatima assures her that she's not.
